The Walker Airsep
Quality You Can Count On
The Airsep® Air/Oil Separator eliminates crankcase emissions by actually closing the crankcase on your diesel engine. The Airsep® is the only current system with a patented design that uses induction air to coalesce the hot oil vapor into liquid.
The Airsep® reduces crankcase pressure, causing the engine to operate in a vacuum. The direct benefits include reduction or elimination of most seal leaks, less lube oil being forced by the rings into the cylinders, and reduction of oil being vented through the crankcase breathers.
When the Airsep® removes the lube oil from the blowby gases, the remaining water vapor and raw diesel fuel is re-inducted into the air intake system. On turbocharged and aftercooler engines, this helps prevent the build-up of sludge on the turbocharger blades, or the accumulation of oil residue in the aftercooler.
The inline version of the Airsep® operates the same as the standard version, except the inline version uses the existing air filtration of your engine.

Scantuary cove international boat show 2022
What a great four days, even though the weather wasn’t great it didn’t stop the vistors. Our demo vessel was very popular, with people being impressed at how well the Z4-270 Nanni fits in to replace the petrol V8.
Our very own demonstrator vessel is featured in July 2021 edition of Trade A Boat magazine.

Outboard and inboard engine supply problems
IBI Premium Content March 13, 2021
Major manufacturers under pressure to meet demand
Apart from the struggle that outboard engine manufacturers around the world readily admit to as they try to ramp up production to meet the boost in demand of the last year for higher horse power models, it seems the supply of inboard engines is also under strain.
The surge in demand, coupled with manufacturing disruption triggered by the Covid pandemic, is causing a headache for Volvo Penta, disrupting its supply of D4 and D6 engines that are now subject to longer lead-times due to constraints on several components. The manufacturer told IBI that demand for its engines had been higher than expected. “We are encouraged by the fact that there is a strong demand for our product and we have every confidence that we have a competitive product offering long term. The demand issues are temporary and we will solve them in close cooperation with our customers and partners.”
One issue exacerbating production relates to the bankruptcy last May of its engine block supplier in Germany. Volvo Penta told IBI that it is now moving the foundry to the Volvo Group’s existing production facility in Skövde, Sweden, which it claims will further enhance its D4/D6 range as a strategic platform for the future.
Volvo Penta said that it was actively working to reduce lead times while accelerating deliveries of component supply: ”Many companies worldwide have been affected during the ongoing pandemic and have experienced disturbances when attempting to ramp up. We are making every effort possible to accelerate our output and are working together in close dialogue with OEMs regarding their demand.”
